Our Mission
Welcome to the Cinco Ranch Theatre Company. Our goal is to provide students with the most valuable skills at our disposal. With us, students will learn empathy, creativity, trade craft, project management, collaboration, professional organization techniques, and how to bring their own beliefs and perspective out with a conscious and confident voice. Theatre is our voice as a society; it's a reflection of who we are. Whether your student is striving to take center stage on Broadway, grab the production reigns of a huge summer blockbuster, or to learn to speak their own voice with power in public, CRTC will be a place of inclusion, fun, exploration, and excitement.

Marty Blair - Artistic Director

​Marty Blair is beyond excited for his first year leading the Cinco Ranch Theatre Company!Mr. Blair is a Louisiana native and a former, long-time A. D. Players Theater resident company member. This is his seventh year teaching and his second in Katy ISD. He is also an artist in residence with Art Reach Texas, where he leads acting workshops and previously toured children's theatre to schools and libraries. He can also be seen in award-winning independent films and national and regional commercials. One of his claims to fame was as the spokesperson for Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center for four years, appearing in numerous commercials as Captain Life Force.
As a Director, his favorite shows include: Matilda the Musical, The Addams Family Musical, Hadestown, School House Rock Live!, Aesop, Come Back!, Peter Pan Jr., Aladdin Jr., and Oedipus.
As an Actor, his favorite shows include: An Inspector Calls (Inspector Goole), The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, You Can’t Take It With You (Tony Kirby), Oleanna (John), Twelve Angry Men (Juror #7), Pride and Prejudice (Mr. Darcy), Dialogues on Grace (Wayne Gilbert), Hamlet (Horatio), Malcolm and Teresa (Malcolm Muggeridge), Miracle on 34th Street (Mr. Sawyer), Over the River and Through the Woods (Nick), Arsenic and Old Lace (Jonathan Brewster), The Beams are Creaking (Hans von Dohnanyi), Charley’s Aunt (Charles Wykeham), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Demetrius/Bottom), and The Great Cross Country Race (The Hare).

Donald Wile - Technical Director

Donald Wile is entering his 15th year as a Public educator, and 5th year with Cinco Ranch HS. It's been 30 years of non stop theatre on this adventure. From old Don Coyote, at George Jr. High in LCISD, to UIL State, and NFL Nationals @ B.F. Terry. Getting his first professional performance at Strand Street theatre in Galveston, performing for Tal Lostracco at Lon Morris College, growing in his BA from the University Of Evansville, an MA with University of Houston, in partnership with RADA, the Kennedy center, Depaul University. Designing Blood Brothers at Vincennes University, Summer Stock @ Millbrook Play House, and building shows for PJ Paparelli, Leigh Fondakowski,  and the Perseverance theatre. Performing in The Nutcracker with the Childrens' Dance Theatre of Evansville and then becoming their Tech Director.  Working with Al Baker for 9 yrs @ Chavez HS, then Kelly Lawrence in DeerPark..... It's been a minute. And it's just getting started.
